Читатели ценят наши публикации за их конкретность, информативность, широкий охват тематики, включающей многочисленные дисциплины защиты и карантина растений.

Нет никаких ограничений – ученый Вы или практик, профессионал или любитель, житель России или зарубежья, мы отнесемся к Вашей статье или заметке одинаково благожелательно. Критерий один – читателю это должно быть интересно. Вдвойне одобрим Ваш текст, если в нем полезные рекомендации, советы, освещение опыта, научных достижений и др.

Напомним, однако, что федеральные законы запрещают рекомендовать пестициды, не зарегистрированные для применения на территории Российской Федерации. Хотя вовсе не возбраняется рассказывать об испытании новых препаратов в порядке информирования читателей.

Поскольку площадь журнала ограничена, а статей поступает много, просим не быть очень многословными. Объем обычной статьи – 5 - 9 тыс. знаков с пробелами, если круг рассматриваемых вопросов не широк, и 9 - 15 тыс. знаков с пробелами – для статей обзорных, проблемного характера.

Можно прислать текст электронной почтой либо ссылкой на файлообменник. Желательны иллюстрации – хорошие цветные фотографии, графики, диаграммы. Размер файлов изображений должен быть не менее 2-3 мб, фотографии должны быть хорошего качества (объект в фокусе, отчетливо идентифицируется, цвета не искажены). Графики и диаграммы требуются в формате exel с исходными данными. Все фото и графики должны быть подписаны.

Правила оформления статей общепринятые. Но научные статьи, в соответствии с требованиями ВАК, необходимо сопровождать списком использованной литературы, а также аннотацией и ключевыми словами на русском и английском языках. Научные статьи должны быть представлены руководителем учреждения, в стенах которого выполнено исследование.

Порядок рецензирования поступающих в редакцию рукописей статей:

1. Поступающие в редакцию статьи должны содержать рекомендацию направившего их научного учреждения либо авторитетного ученого, мнению которого редакция доверяет.
2. В случае необходимости поступившая в редакцию рукопись направляется для отзыва одному из членов редакционной коллегии, а материалы, требующие заключения по более узким вопросам, посылаются выбранному редакцией специалисту данного профиля.
3. Если мнение автора не совпадает с мнением рецензента, но высказано в статье достаточно аргументированно, статья может быть принята к публикации.
4. Если рецензентом рукопись в целом одобрена, но высказаны отдельные замечания, статья посылается автору на доработку для учета замечаний с мотивированным письмом. В случае отклонения статьи автору высылается мотивированное обоснование.

Information for the magazine authors

Readers appreciate our publications for their concreteness, informational content, broad coverage of the subject including numerous disciplines of protection and quarantine of plants.

If you have such materials and are ready to share them with readers, you are our guest. Having written to us or having called on one of contact phones, you can coordinate a subject of the publication, its volume, terms with editors, and you can simply send the article by ordinary mail or by e-mail.

There are no restrictions – the scientist you are or the practitioner, the professional or the amateur, the resident of Russia or the abroad, we will accept your article or information note with favor. The only requirement – it shall be of interest for the reader. We will accept your article with appreciation especially, if it contains useful recommendations, advice, publicizing of experience, scientific achievements, etc.

We are to remind, however, that according to the Federal laws it is forbidden to recommend the pesticides which aren't included in the State catalog of the pesticides and agrochemicals allowed for use in the territory of the Russian Federation. Though it isn't forbidden to inform the readers about the new preparations testing.

Since the magazine's space is limited and there are many articles coming in, please don't be too verbose. The volume of a regular article is 5-9 thousand characters with spaces, if the range of issues under consideration is not wide, and 9-15 thousand characters with spaces - for review articles of a problematic nature.

You can send a text by e-mail, or with a link to a file sharing service. Illustrations are desirable – good color photographs, graphs, diagrams. The size of the image files should be at least 2-3 MB, and the photos should be of good quality (the object is in focus, clearly identifiable, and the colors are not distorted). Graphs and diagrams are required in exel format with the original data. All photos and graphics must be signed.

Rules of articles registration are standard. But, according to requirements of Higher Attestation Commission, scientific articles are to be accompanied by the list of the literature used, and the summary and keywords in the Russian and English languages. Scientific articles shall be submitted by the head of the institution that carried out the investigation.

The order of the submitted articles review:

1. Articles sent to the editors shall contain the recommendation of the scientific institution submitting them, or, any reputable scientist whose opinion the editors trust.
2. In case of need, the article received by the editors will be sent for response to one of the members of the Editorial board, and materials demanding the conclusion on more specific issues are sent to the expert of this specific profile, chosen by the editors.
3. If the opinion of the author doesn't coincide with the opinion of the reviewer, but is clearly reasoned in the article, then the article can be accepted for publication.
4. If the manuscript, in general, is approved by the reviewer, but separate remarks are included, the article with the letter of reasoned explanations is sent to the author for completion taking into account the remarks stated. In case of non acceptance of the article for publication a letter with reasoned justification is sent to the author.
